Having stayed in Mama Shelter in London before, I was already very on board with the hotel chain's fun, modern and slightly cheeky vibe.
What really swayed it for me when I visited Prague was the price. At just £60 a night for a medium sized room (they don't have small rooms at this hotel) it was a great price for somewhere so modern.
Yes, you are slightly outside of the city centre but you can either walk in 25 minutes or jump on a tram from the station outside. Giving the speed of those things, you'll be where you need to be within 5 minutes!!
Our room was really comfy and I loved our view. The pictures showing a terribly made bed were our Medium room, and the well made bed was a Large that I asked for a snoop around!
The lounge and restaurant space was amazing too, with so much space for chilling or working (we did the latter), helped by the fact that the menu is incredibly well priced.
A pint of beer for £1.91? Prosecco for £2.05? Pizza for £6.50?
Yeah, those are my kind of prices!
Breakfast is a really decent buffet (it cost us around £8 each to add on) but we only paid up once, instead choosing to try out other brunch places in the area.
