The average Brit spends £3418 a year on holidays and so I decided to see how many holidays I could do for half the price.
Here’s where I ended up going, and how much it all cost.
What were the rules?
I had £1709 (half the price the average Brit spends in a year) to go on:
- At least 10 holidays
- Trips must be 2 nights or more and two must be 5 nights or more
- Only use 28 days of annual leave
- At least 3 continents
- At least one flight must be business class
The costs would account for my transport and accommodation.
