Visit Wrocław Market Square and Go Dwarf Hunting

Free
Overview

Check out the gorgeous old townhall at the Market Square – known in Polish ‘Ryney’ – and take a stroll past the dramatic tenement houses. Right near the Market Square, there’s the Salt Market with flower shops. As you explore keep an eye out for the hundreds of charming little dwarf statues scattered throughout the square–each with its unique personality and style.

This Market Square is huge – in fact, it’s the second largest in Poland after Kraków and it really is impressive to walk around, taking in all the different styles of architecture.

It’s the main hub of the city – often when the streets around it were quiet, you’d hear a buzz from the square and when you turn into it, you’d find where all the tourists are!
