Take the Ferry to Gozo

Affordable
Overview

The second largest of the Maltese islands, Gozo is situated just off the northwest coast of Malta. Gozo is celebrated for its ancient ruined temples, hiking trails, gorgeous beaches and top-notch diving spots. And it’s only a 25 minute journey from the mainland!

To catch the main Gozo ferry, head to Ċirkewwa in northern Malta, where the Gozo Channel Line operates the service. They run a ferry that operates every day to shuttle both passengers and vehicles between Malta and Mġarr on the southeast coast of Gozo. The best part is, you can catch a ferry pretty much every hour throughout the day, so you can decide how long you want to spend on the island.

Standard passenger fees start at €4.65 (£4.05), while a car with driver price starts at €15.70 (£13.65). Bear in mind public holidays and weekends can get quite busy with long queues.
