Ride around Central Park

Affordable
Overview

At 843 acres, I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say that you’re probably not going to manage to explore all of Central Park during your visit.

So why not give yourself a helping hand and hire a bike instead?

There are plenty of options when it comes to renting bikes and if you’re in a spontaneous mood, you may find that a citi bike works best. You basically rock up, pay $3.99 for a single ride up to 30 minutes, or pay $15 for a day pass that unlocks unlimited 30 minute ride across a 24 hour period.

However, if you’re looking to be on the bike for longer stints than 30 mins – which is what you probably need for Central Park – I’d look into a more traditional type of bike hire.

You can often stroll in on the day, but I’ve found you can get a great price by booking in advance too.
