Packmate Roll By Hand Vac Bags

When I tell people that I always use vac bags for my packing, I always get the same response.

“But what if you don’t have a vacuum on holiday so that you can pack on your return?”

Fair point, but the best thing about these vac bags is that they’re roll by hand so you don’t need a hoover or air-sucking contraption to make them work.

I recommend buying the 8 pack as then you’ll get a mix of 2 large, 4 medium and 2 small bags. I often pack 2 medium bags full of clothes and then use the 2 smaller bags for underwear and smaller items. That usually fits perfectly into my small cabin bag, along with my toiletries and equipment.

My top tip is to take a spare medium bag which you can pack your dirty laundry into – it’s particularly useful if you’re moving at any point of your trip.
