Overview

There’s nothing I love more than a good boozer and with it’s dark wood and marble topped bar, The Buxton is SERVING.

Therefore, it’s unsurprising to me that they’ve done a pretty good job with their rooms too. Their description, “15 simple, pared back bedrooms to suit the modern travellers” sums up perfectly what’s on offer here. I also love that hotel guests get access to their rooftop where they grow herbs for the kitchen and bar.

The location is great too if you’re looking to explore East London (great for a chilled weekend eating and drinking) and Aldgate tube station, just 9 minutes walk away, will help out if you’re helping to explore further. Though if I was you, I’d walk down to the Thames River and enjoy a laidback hour’s jaunt to more central spots such as Covent Garden.
