Get free accommodation by house sitting
Finding free accommodation doesn’t need to be difficult. In fact, I’ve done it twice! Here’s how I do it by using house sitting websites.
Overview
Whilst the area of Exarcheia may have a history as the ‘anarchist’ neighbourhood of Athens, you’ll find nothing but a friendly welcome at Nubian hostel.
With shared dorms – including female only – and private rooms to choose between, there’s an option for everyone. If you’re on a budget, you’ll love the free breakfast – though don’t expect any frivolities – and the shared kitchen and dining area. There’s somewhere to do your laundry too, and in room lockers keep your items safe, whilst the 24 hour reception has luggage storage too if you arrive early or want to explore before you leave.
If you’re a light sleeper, you may want to ask to be given a room off the ground floor where you’ll hear mopeds zipping by late into the night.
