Vienna Christmas Markets Review
I’m giving the lowdown on all Vienna’s Christkindlmarkt am Rathausplatz Christmas Market has to offer, including festive food and drinks, fun activities and shopping.
The elegant Hotel Monopol Wrocław is located in the city centre and housed in the oldest building in the city! With 121 rooms,14 suites, 2 restaurants, an indoor pool, spa, fitness centre, and rooftop bar, it has all the facilities of a luxury hotel.
The rooms are incredibly spacious, featuring beautifully crafted wooden built-in wardrobes with sliding doors. The bathrooms are a highlight, boasting a luxurious walk-in shower with generous space, a large shower head, and fantastic water pressure..
The spa facilities are equally inviting, whether you want to take a dip in the pool or unwind in the soothing sauna area. The “salt cave” offers a serene atmosphere with comfortable temperatures and relaxing sunbeds.
When it comes to dining, the hotel’s buffet breakfast is a treat, offering a range of fresh and tasty options. While the restaurant is equally tasty, the menu standout is the trout with vegetables and green peppers.
If you’re travelling with pets you can get a den, bowls and food for an additional charge. The hotel staff are very friendly and help with anything from parking and to luggage storage.
I checked out the rooftop when passing during a recent trip – it’s a little sparse, but you can’t deny the views from it! Plus there’s a bar at the top too so a perfect place to sit out and watch the sunset.
