Is There a Limited Number of Transport for Wales Sale Tickets?

Yes! Once the tickets on sale are booked up, that’s it so we recommend booking sooner rather than later to make the most of this promotion.

Can I Use My Railcard on the Transport for Wales Sale?

The great news is yes you can!

When I was checking ticket prices between Cardiff and Manchester, I found plenty for the sale promo price of £21.50. When I added a 26-30 railcard, this dropped to £14.15 – even for the sale promo journeys I found at peak times.

If you're a frequent train traveller, you know how pricey those tickets can get. But fear not; we're going to show you how to use a UK Railcard to save some cash while travelling on trains throughout Britain.

Where Do We Recommend Visiting on the Transport for Wales Network?

There are many wonderful journeys to take in this part of the world (perhaps I’m a bit biased since I am Welsh!) however I absolutely recommend a trip to Carmarthen and then traversing along the South Wales coast.

We visited Tenby from there and it was STUNNING! And even managed to squeeze in a boat trip over to Caldey Island.
